Back in the summer of '22 i studied abroad in italy & austria.
I had never been out of the country before & i paid for the trip myself, so it was a really big deal. 
To this day, it's the most important & wonderful & scary thing i've ever done.

i wanted to make sure i remembered everything, & not just what i did, but how i felt. i also wanted my close friends & family to hear all about it, but i didn't have the time for daily phone calls or even texting.
so, i made an instagram account & i posted every day i was gone.

it wasn't easy & most nights i laid in bed sweating my sack off at 1am, wanting to do anything other than write about my 17 hour day.
but looking back, i'm really glad i did it.
